About us: Hello, this is about our journey. My name is Michaelene and my daughter is Angelique this is our journey
I am a Tlingit Native woman from Juneau, Alaska I was raised in Juneau and Angoon where my family is from. My Grandmother is the one that raised me the best that she could, she was a hard worker and had two jobs working every single day until she retired and when she decided to retire she beaded and sewed her own regalia for herself and her family and a lot of other things like crocheting and gathering berry’s for the family, cutting fish when my Grandpa brought home the food to provide like deer, gumboots and many other seafoods for the home to store for the winter. My Grandmother was a loyal and loving grandma with a big heart and I absolutely loved her with all my life. This is the most important part about us.
I was a single mother of one daughter my Grandmother helped me with my daughter in the first years of her life until I got excepted to Job Jorps, where I was able to take my daughter with me and moved to Palmer, Alaska. This was probably the biggest decision about us that I ever had to make. Once I was done with job corps I moved to Anchorage, Alaska Since 2002, through out the years I was just trying to figure out what I wanted to do in life that would make me happy. When I was simply trying to just pay the bills and survive, it was not easy it was hard to find daycare, it was hard to find a job that I wanted so that I didn’t have to depend on the government.
Once my daughter graduated High School it got easier for me to explore more so I became a school bus driver and then I studied to become CNA Certified Nursing Assistant. Then I bought my own condo, that was a huge step in life and now have two grandchildren that I absolutely adore and now my daughter is a single mother of two that I am trying to be there for. To tell you more about us, my daughter got her license in Cosmetology and wants to one day own her own business. Now I am in a process of buying a bigger house and selling my condo to relocate to a whole new state for a whole new start in life. New job, new people, new atmosphere. Now you see the biggest fear about us and where we are headed.
During my Journey of looking for a new job on Indeed this website popped into my text message about having your own business and learning how to be and to have financial freedom. Because of this, I am so excited to share the story about us and what brought us here. I thought How Awesome would that be to be able to choose my own hours and not have to work so much, like I already do. I work twelve hour shifts Monday through Friday and Saturdays for my second job five sometimes ten hour shifts, with all of these expenses taking all of my time and effort and most of my sleep just to work and pay the bills.
I wanted to take this opportunity to see if I could really do this, even if I had no experience in marketing. I wanted to see if I could take a hold of this and fly so I can sore like an eagle and feel the wind through my hair and that freedom to do what I want, when I want and that I’m not working myself into the ground. So that’s when I made the decision to give this a try and introduced this online community to my daughter, her name is Angelique, and now I am looking forward to learning more about the company.
Hi I’m Angelique Born and raised in Alaska. However, I escaped and moved to Washington state in the PNW and I love it. I am a single parent of two kids. I’m a fulltime hairdresser and I love the industry. I do love to keep myself busy. Weather that’s reading, mini hikes with my littles, vacations, road trips. Anything that can get me out my comfort zone I’m willing to try. I have been a food service worker to medical field as a CNA and striving to be a Nurse. I ended up hairdressing cause I love the creativity that comes with it and just being able to help others achieve their hair goals and enhance appearance.
I love the opportunity to be able to do something remote working and I have always wondered what it would be like doing that. There are so many opportunities at the tips of our fingers and I am so very grateful to have found my opportunity here at RRR247. I definitely look forward to what the future has in store for my family. I love the idea of building generational wealth for any future generations. I definitely see high potential and lots of possibilities in this company.
The number one great thing about this opportunity is that it works around my current work schedule and it’s very flexible. Given I’m a full time hair dresser and full time mom this makes it easy for me to be able to do it between my free time with my kids I appreciate being able to have opportunities like this at the tips of my fingers. Consistency is definitely important starting out with anything you set your mind to.
